The 5th Sunday Money Shoot was challenging today. Not because of rain and/or wind but because it was a clear sunny day. Stations 1, 2 & Low 8 were a challenge because the bright sun was in our eyes making it impossible to see the bird at times. And oh yea, it was a bit chilly. The coolest day yet with the thermometer just below freezing in the morning making it so we wanted to stand in the sunshine to soak up a little warmth.
Shooting went well but we didn’t have a lot of shooters. The first station was tricky because of the sun. But everyone managed to hit them all on this station on the first round. Great start!!!! Then the sun varied quite a bit on around the horn.
Paul and Rick each shot 24’s. And there were five 23’s. It ended up that Paul came in first, Rick came in 2nd and Randy ended up 3rd.
Nice shooting by everyone. Paul has 3 first places in a row now. He’s the one to beat next time on January 29, 2023. See you then. Bring a friend to skeet shooting and practice for the next 5th Sunday Money Shoot.
