A couple updates as we head into fall and hunting season!
Club meetings have been changed. Meeting will once again be held the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30PM in the clubhouse. We encourage members to attend to find out more about what’s going on. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, October 25th at 6:30PM.
Youth Trap is underway! We have 10 youth shooting for Cherry Valley-Springfield School and 11 youth shooting for Cooperstown Central School. Youth are shooting Sunday afternoons now through October 23rd. If you would like to support youth trap we have cash raffle tickets available! $10 tickets give you a chance at $1,000 grand prize as well as $500, $250, $100 and $50 consolation prizes. Tickets are available from board members and at Council Rock Brewery, Staffin’s Auto and Cooperstown Underground Barbershop.
Time to site in your hunting rifle! If you’ve yet to pay 2022 dues please make sure you have done so prior to using the range or hunting the property.
Trap season is winding down. We will be starting open trap at 10AM Saturdays for the remainder of the season with our last day of the season planned for October 29th. There will be two more registered shoots this season, October 15th and November 5th. Only ATA members are able to shoot during these shoots. If you would like to become an ATA member and try registered shooting the club has complimentary memberships available.
Skeet shooting is still going strong! Join us for skeet Sundays from 8:00AM – noon. We have been getting a good turnout lately and are always looking for new shooters! There are five Sundays in October which means our next money shoot will be Sunday, October 30th!
