The Cooperstown Sportsmen’s Association’s first registered trap shoot was held over the weekend and was a great success despite some outrageous wind! Rick O’Dell of Pine Tree Rifle Club shot the only straight of the day and went on to tie for high score in Singles with William Compton of Unadilla, both shooting 47. Rick Cammer of Stamford grabbed the high score in Doubles with a 45.
Strong gusting headwinds made for some of the most challenging doubles birds anyone had seen. We will be hoping for much calmer weather during our next event to be held on October 23rd.
Thank you to everyone who attended!
