Oh, what a beautiful day for shooting skeet. I woke up this morning to outside temp at 28 degrees. Not a breeze blowing anywhere. Should be a fun time at the club.
Question – Do the clay pigeons break easier when it is cold? I don’t know but the way pigeons were breaking it must be true.
The first round produced a 24 out of 25 and three 23’s. The 2nd round was even better with three 25’s and a 24. The 3rd round gave us 24, 23, 22, 21, and 20. Excellent. Then we finished the 4th round with a 25 and two 24’s. That is some excellent shooting.
It ends up with Randy winning 1st place and Rick & Ray hitting only 1 bird less for a tie for 2nd & 3rd place. What a nice day it was to shoot and congratulations to the winners.
Skeet shooting is lot of fun. Rather you are a beginner or a regular at this game, please join us on Sunday mornings at 8:00 until noon. We have a good time here at the Cooperstown Sportsman’s Club. Bring a friend. It is fun. The next 5th Sunday Money Shoot is March 29, 2026.
