Well, finally we got the last 2024-5th Sunday Money Shoot underway. It was postponed twice. The first time was on December 29th when they were predicting heavy rain all morning. In fact, it didn’t rain all morning, but did start after we got 3 rounds in so it would have been a rainy day to shoot the 5th Sunday Money Shoot. We decided to have it the next week. Now January 5th came around and that was a cold miserable day too, with winds blowing so hard it was difficult to see the field at times. Again, we decided to postpone for another week.
So here we are on January 12th with a wonderful day to shoot skeet. Temperature is in the mid-20’s and not a breeze in the air. So let’s get it going.
Most of us shot pretty well. Scores ranged up to 24 but no 25’s today. Top score was by Rick with a 93 & three 23’s shooting his .410. Then Paul shot well to bring in 2nd while Randy captured 3rd. It was a good day, but we were all happy to get back inside to warm up between rounds.
