On September 29 the 5th Sunday Money Shoot was supposed to be completed. It was postponed to October 6, so today we shot the competition. The day was cool when I arrived at the Cooperstown Sportsman’s Club with the temperature at 39 degrees. But without the wind blowing at all and standing in the sun, it was not a bad day to shoot skeet. The only complaint was the sun in our eyes on Stations 1 & 2, especially in the 1st round and some in the 2nd round. Also, a slight breeze blew by the time we got to the 4th round but by then it had warmed up to about 60 degrees.
This week there were no 25’s and only two 24’s but five 23’s. Everyone shot pretty well. Taking 1st place was Rick using his 28 gauge which he has enjoyed shooting much more lately & he is shooting it very well. Coming up 2nd was Paul this week after he hit 99 last week. Great shooting Paul. Third was Ray who has been shooting very well too. Congratulations to all.
