It is the last day of December and the last day of the year 2023. So that means we can blow off 2023 with a bang. And that is just what we did with our last 5th Sunday Money Shoot on December 31, 2023.
When I left home that morning the wind was blowing but no snow. However, before I got to the Cooperstown Gun Club the wind had stopped so we all thought it would be a good day. But starting off the 2nd round the snow began falling at a good rate and I thought we were in for it. But others said there wasn’t any mention of snow in the forecast. Those thoughts must have chased the snow away so by the end of round 2, like magic, the snow stopped. Then we had great cool shooting weather.
Some of us shot quite well while others, not so good. There were no 25’s this time but many 24’s. In fact, there were 4 of them, 3 being shot by the winner of this match.
Ray got 1st place while Randy was in 2nd. I managed to squeak out third. We all had a good time and wished each other Happy New Year.
Hope to see all or you for our 5th Sunday Money Shoot next year. The first one is on March 31, 2024.
